Overview
At Gallagher, we’re looking for a Member Services Representative - Employee Benefits to join our team. This role is all about building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they receive exceptional service supporting Government entities. You’ll work closely with our sales team and guide Client Service Associates to create a collaborative and supportive environment. How you'll make an impact
- You will support the Employee Benefits Client Service Cycle to ensure a seamless renewal process and help our team retain business
- Support in creation and review of client Benefit Guides - We will teach you about Gallagher’s vast network of resources to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivering client materials
- Coordinate vendor responses, and create client presentations
- You begin to effectively present in open enrollment meetings, participate on client calls, and reply to clients via email
- Establish positive relationships in your office and support with administrative tasks as needed
- Guide junior teammates and support the broader client service team during peak enrollment season
About You
- Bachelor's degree; or relevant experience required
- Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion

Introduction
Overview
The IPBC Operations Support Specialist provides critical operational and analytical support to IPBC leadership. This role assists in the development, implementation and coordination of key programs, processes, and data-driven initiatives that support organizational efficiency and member services.
How you'll make an impact
- Collaborates with and supports IPBC staff to understand project objectives and to identify relevant data, metrics, and deliverables.
- Collaborates with and supports IPBC Leadership in the analysis, development and implementation of new carrier programs including assistance with any required committee and board discussions.
- Responsible for current member underwriting process and serves as the liaison to outsourced IPBC underwriter.
- Responsible for ensuring project based open enrollment tasks are completed for IPBC membership within benefits administration system including oversight of the guided renewal process and any updates required for Employee Self Service.
- Responsible for development and coordination of annual Open Enrollment timelines with key carrier partners ensuring all required deadlines are communicated and met.
- Oversees carrier Electronic Data Integration (EDI) file process and reviews and responds to weekly discrepancies.
- Responsible for oversight, communication and member group adherence to required dependent audit and first responder processes.
- Works directly with IPBC leadership and Financial Program Manager to assist with data warehouse mapping and report preparation
- Serves as backup for key IPBC staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A minimum of three years’ experience in risk pooling, multi-employer benefit programs, the health insurance industry, and/or municipal government is preferred.
- Valid Illinois Insurance Producers License beneficial but not required.
